Electrical

The CRM that quotes at the panel.

A request becomes a booked service call, the electrician quotes at the panel, and the upgrade sheet, the rough-in sheet and a panel-upgrades page on your website come with it. Daybook speaks electrician.

Electrical is the third service trade Daybook was finished for, in the same shape as heating and plumbing: a request is waiting to be booked, not viewed; the visit is a service call, not a site visit; the electrician troubleshoots at the panel and quotes on the spot; and once the call is done the next step is Mark won, with a quote available but never insisted on. A 200 A upgrade still gets quoted before the utility disconnect is booked — the shape sets a default, never a rule.

The rest is the trade’s own. Troubleshooting & repair, panel & service upgrade, EV charger & generator, lighting & device install, rough-in & renovation and commercial & industrial as service types; a service call report, a panel & service upgrade sheet and a rough-in sheet as checklists; a starter price list from the diagnostic to NMD90 by the foot; and the words on the screen are an electrician’s.

The electrical toolkit.

On top of everything Daybook does for every trade — the full list is here — electrical gets its own tools.

A request becomes a service call

The request chips read To book and Call done, the button says Book a service call, and once the call is done the job’s next step is Mark won — the electrician already quoted at the panel, so a quote is there if you want one and never in the way.

The unit on the job

Make, model, serial number and fault code sit on every job, filled in or not — the panel, the charger or the generator, so the office knows which one before the return visit is booked and the tech arrives knowing what is there.

An electrical price list, ready to price

Diagnostic and after-hours calls, 100 A and 200 A panel upgrades and sub-panels, new and dedicated circuits, EV chargers and standby generators, pot lights, fans, dimmers and GFCIs, rough-in, finish and rewire per opening, NMD90 by the foot, breakers and devices by the piece — a labelled starter list on day one, with your own prices on it.

Checklists written for electriciansCrew and up

A service call report with the panel, the circuit, the fault and the readings; a panel & service upgrade sheet with the utility disconnect, the labelled panel and the inspection; and a rough-in sheet with every wall photographed before drywall — attached to the right jobs automatically.

Quotes and paperwork in your words

Troubleshooting & repair, panel & service upgrade, EV charger & generator, lighting & device install, rough-in & renovation, commercial & industrial — the service types, the examples and the document preview all speak electrical.

AI that knows the trade

Troubleshoot, circuit and breaker, panel and service, 100 A and 200 A, opening, device, GFCI and AFCI, dedicated circuit, utility disconnect, permit and inspection — drafts and job summaries use an electrician’s vocabulary, and the auto-classifier files a tripping breaker as a repair, a fuse box as a panel upgrade and a charger as its own job.

The words on the screen are yours.

This is not copy — it is what the app says to electrical businesses, word for word. Most trades see the left-hand word; you see the right.
